ARV care

ARV data entry is provided in the Safe Motherhood section. Some of this data is summarised in the Antenatal and Postnatal cards, which are linked from the Demographics page. The HIV status and ARV information is coded:

  • PCR: Pretest Counseled Refused
  • PCA: Pretest Counseled Accepted
  • TA: Test Refused
  • TA: Test Accepted
  • NR: Not Reactive (Patient is HIV -)
  • R: Reactive (Patient is HIV+)
  • I: Indeterminate
  • MGA: Mother Given ARV
  • IGA: Infant Given ARV
  • MRA: Mother refused ARV
  • INGA: Infant Not Given ARV
  • IFB: Infant feeding choice by mother is Breast Feeding
  • IFR: Infant feeding choice by mother is Replacement Feeding
  • TT: Tetanus Toxoid Vaccination
  • ITN: Sleeps under Insecticide-treated net
