    Helping to eliminate malaria

    RTI has worked with the Zanzibar Malaria Elimination Programme, the US President's Malaria Initiative, and USAID to develop a unique mobile reactive case detection system to help eliminate malaria. The system, called "Coconut Surveillance" has been used in Zanzibar since 2012.

    Strengthening health information systems

    With the strong support of supported by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), RTI has worked closely with the Government of Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) to revitalized and strengthen Zimbabwe's national Health Information System (HIS).
