Newborn ARV care

The Newborn Evaluation and Infant Discharge Summary forms provide an opportunity to enter data relating to newborn ARV care in the Infant Immunizations and Medication section:

The system will notify the clinician if NVP has not been administered to the newborn if the mother is HIV positive.

There are additional opportunities to enter HIV care records in the Infant Postnatal Visit form.
