HIV-related stigma and discrimination remains a serious challenge in Ghana. The launch of a new web-based system in Ghana for handling cases of HIV-related discrimination is designed to improve access to justice for people living with HIV and key populations at higher risk of HIV.

The Wireless Access for Health (WAH) partnership in the Philippines has successfully introduced and scaled up the use of electronic health records in rural health units.

RTI International will present Tangerine:Class at the UNESCO Mobile Learning Week in Paris, France, February 18-22.  The UNESCO Mobile Learning Week seeks to address how mobile technologies can be used to further the Education For All (EFA), specifically looking at:

  • the role of mobile learning in increasing adult and childhood literacy;
  • how mobile technology can improve quality of education (including supporting teachers); and
  • exploring mobile learning to improve gender equality in education.
