2008 IRSA Demonstration

A demonstration version of a malaria spraying data collection application based on an earlier version of Zcore was developed in 2008. In the demo, data was exported to a delimited text file, e-mailed to the main data center, and aggregated with other sites' data into an external MySQL database. Some modifications such as dropdown options could be made without the aid of a programmer.

IRSA uses the Eclipse RCP framework for the user interface. Reports are provided by BIRT, which is embedded in IRSA. Data is stored in IRSA using the embedded database Derby and can be easily imported into MySQL database.
